Hotmail starts mailbox upgrades

25 September 2004 67 views 3 Comments

People have been reporting that Hotmail has started to upgrade free Hotmail accounts from 2Mb to 250Mb of space as promised. They have been saying that they would upgrade, but it’s just starting. I checked my wife’s and my Hotmail account, but it wasn’t upgraded yet. So, know that it’s coming soon. They might be doing in by dates of signup as the screenshot is from an old account created in 1999. So, if you just signed up for Hotmail, it might be a while. 250Mb is not 2 Gigs, but, it’s better than 2Mb, that’s for sure.

Post in the comments when they upgrade your box so that we can see some kind of pattern.
