Where Credit is Due …
Ok, so, people from time to time come to me saying that they appreciate my multimedia skills … I, of course, say thank you, but then find out that many people assume that I create everything that they see in our church, from graphics, to video, to screen, to print, etc. I want to say to the public … YNEM has an incredible media ministry team. The key word is team. As in any team, whether in sports or anything else, there are many people behinds the scenes that work humbly and selflessly to get the job done. Also, like a team, there is a head figure that always gets the credit, when in actually, it was a team effort with the people in the background doing most of the work. That’s with the case of YNEM media team. Many times, I get the “recognition” or “credit” when it wasn’t me at all (this also works negatively as well – sometimes, something is done by someone who brings something to us to show and it’s not … the best quality … and yet, people will still think it’s me or the media team
).
So, I want to recognize some of the unsung heros of of the media ministry team: Peter Ha, Greg Park, Paulo Kang, Marcos Kang, George Chang, Becky Kim, Pat Kim, Howard Kahm, Andy Chon, Liz Han, Pastor David, Phil Han, Bowen Park, Abe Park, Kristine Ahn, Kil Shon, Jae Yim … these name are in no particular order. This includes everything from website, worship screen graphics, brochures, banners, posters, bulletin, stage design, video, and much, much more … If we were to count the hours of all these people in how much they have contributed to YNEM, it would be massive, just because of the nature of the work … and they have all done it willingly, joyfully, knowing that they would not receive the recognition of men but knowing that they are serving God. Thank God for you … I challenge you to say “thanks” to these people and encourage them for all they do!
God, As many hours as these servants have put in, if we were to give credit where credit is due, You were the One who gave us hands and eyes, gifts and skills, to do these things … Remind us, once again, it’s all for You!
P.s. To see some of the YNEM videos, check out the left side YNEM Video links. Which one’s your favorite???
