Hole in One!
Went to play golf today (haven’t played in ages!) with my dad in the country side somewhere in Oregon. Anyway, it was the third hole, par 3, 116 yards, and my dad hit this PERFECT shot. I thought it was gonna hit the flag but it was short. I just saw this white ball hit the front of the green and then roll toward the cup and disappear! Never seen a hole-in-one in my life! They say that people who have golfed all their lives don’t even get to SEE one, let alone MAKE one! Wow!
Here’s the sad part. My dad’s a 1st generation pastor. Who’s he gonna share this great joy with? His congregation? They don’t even know he plays every Monday! It’s like having the greatest news in the world and you can’t tell anyone! So, I’LL gonna tell the world! Congratulations, Dad.
