Home Sweet Home!

There’s nothing better than home, that’s for sure! Especially after 16 hours of driving! Wow … what a trip. It was great to spend time with dad and mom and grandparents and for them to spend time with the kids. Everytime I visit relatives, the first thing they have me do is look at their computer to fix whatever is wrong with it. On this trip, I fixed 6 computers (all PCs) and created a website for my dad’s new church. Man, can’t get away from it! I can’t believe how rampant spyware is on the PC right now (I forget because I’m using the Mac more these days). So many computers are being infected and many people don’t even know it. I keep telling people to use Firefox on the PC (which I installed on all the computers I fixed) because it WILL stop the browser hijacking and spyware, but people just want to keep using Internet Explorer. Well, now that is a prerequisite for me fixing people’s computer. If they are not using Firefox, I’m not fixing! I take that back … food always persuades me!

Anyway, spyware is evil. I’m glad that the government is now doing something about it. I even heard that Bill Gates wants to do something in the new version of Windows cause he got spyware on his home computer and it took a lot of time to take it all off! :)

Anyway, it was a great vacation … and like all vacations, I really need a vacation now!

God, thank you for keeping us safe with your angels during our 2,000+ miles trip. Thank you for rest and for family … and even for computers!
