Don’t Use Aleve!

21 December 2004 65 views No Comment

Man, Kathy and I were watching the news last night and saw a segment on Aleve. They were saying that the over-the-counter pain reliever, Alleve (naproxen), has been recently found to possibly cause heart attacks and strokes. What! I prefer Alleve over Tylenol, Advil or Asprin. It’s so strong that I usually only take one, two if I’m really hurting. I guess not anymore …

I just wonder with all the drugs that we use on a regular basis, what side effects they will find out later on. I especially wonder about those Korean herbal medicines. You read in the Korean newspaper that this is good for that and this is good for that and then the WHOLE Korean community starts to eat this and take that. But, I wonder what side effects these things might have?
