Google Earth for Mac!!!

9 December 2005 158 views 2 Comments

Finally, the beta for Google Earth for the Mac! This so cool. Everything always looks better on the Mac and Google Earth is no exception. It’s not fully released or official on their website, so you can get it here:

Google Earth for Mac – Beta

Man, this program is so awesome. I could play with it for hours. Just visiting places where you grew up and zooming in or “visiting” places where you’ve never been (and will probably never ever get to go to), is just fun!

If you have a PC and haven’t downloaded and played with it, you GOT to. But warning, it will consume hours of your time!!!

Here’s the official download link for the PC

Have fun!

Thanks. Downloaded Google Earth, but it did not work. When i try to start it, it crashes. The console says: “dyld: /Applications/Google Earth.app/Contents/MacOS/Google Earth can’t open library: /System/Library/Frameworks/Quartz.framework/Versions/A/Quartz (No such file or directory, errno = 2)”

In my System/Library/Framework, I have Quartzcore.framework instead of Quartz.framework. Could this be the reason for its not working?

I have Panther Mac OS 10.3.9

    Any suggestions?
