Diaper Graduation

After over 7 years of buying diapers, the Chung family is now official done. Nathan, our youngest, is now using the potty (properly = see past post). So, I decided to do a little calculation and here’s my math.

In the last 7 years with 3 kids, with each kid being in their diapers for about 3 years, that’s 1,095 days per child with a total of 3,285 days of diaper usage. With more diapers being used when they were younger and less when they were older, the average diapers per day would be about 4-5. Let’s use 4 to be on the safe side. That would be a grand total of 13,140 diapers bought and CHANGED. Now, the average cost of one diaper is about a quarter. Which would mean that it would be an average cost of about a buck a day, which would bring the grand dollar total to $3,285 that we have spent on diapers. Now, that’s not even including wipes!

Anyway, we’re so happy!!! But, now, does this mean that our toliet paper costs will go up? :(

No more diapers and wipes? Do you even need to go to Target or CostCo anymore?
