Finally, it’s here! I’ve been waiting for this too long, following EVERY (I mean EVERY) rumor of it’s release.
This is the iBook Intel replacement and it’s cheap. It’s 13.3″, which is basically a 12″ in widescreen. I think that’s the perfect resolution for a laptop. The 15″ is just a little too big and the 12″ was a little too small. This is the perfect balance between screen real estate and portability.
It’s got almost everything that the MacBook Pro has (iSight, MagSafe Power, Front Row, etc.). I’m glad I waited. And now, just like the iPods, it comes in white AND black! (I wonder if with the black one, you’ll need a protective cover for your laptop now.)
These are going to sell like hotcakes. Time to watch those Apple stocks! So, who wants one of these???

Yes I am. It may sound like an impulse buy, but I was sold on this from the very first rumor! At least, that’s how I justify my purchase.
I called every Apple Store in LA and the only store that had them was the Thousand Oaks one (they had two). I was SO tempted to drive there last night. Sad, huh?
I drove to Northridge Mall yesterday cause they said they had the black one in stock, and when I got there, they said they sold out an hour ago. They even took the displays off because they were adding software to them. So, I wasn’t even able to see one.
