Santa was good to me this Christmas. I got two incredible gadget presents:
1. Keurig B60
![]()
I love Starbucks as much as the next guy, but I don’t know how people go every single day and pay that kind of money for their little cup of Joe. I go once in a while and that STILL racks up. Do people realize that their monthly Starbucks budget is $40-$60/month???
So, my sister calls me up and tells me about this Keurig coffee maker. She said that she used to go to the coffee shop a lot, but never goes after this. She tells me that this coffee tastes like any coffee you buy at the shop. And it’s easy, fast and taste good. Now, that sounds appealing to me … I enjoy coffee, but hardly make it at home because it takes too much effort just to make one cup. It’s not efficient and I think that’s why people would just rather go through a drive-thru and pick up their coffee for the day. But, with this Keurig, you have the convenience of instant coffee with the taste of bought coffee. Nice! Now, after getting this coffee maker, I have my morning routine with a great tasting cup of coffee (Gloria Jeans - Hazelnut) at like $.40 each. And there’s no cleaning … just pouring more water into the maker. My wife likes to make tea with it and she makes hot chocolate for the kids with it as well. If you want to see a demo of how this work, check it out.
2. Jawbone Bluetooth Headset

Because I keep in touch with technology and the latest stuff out there, there is little that amazes me. But this little gadget, Jawbone Bluetooth Headset is truly amazing. In fact, that’s what everyone says when they see it in action. What’s different about this headset? The noise shield technology that is built-in to this device is outstanding. So, imagine that you are in a crowded restaurant, or driving in your car with the radio full blast, or standing at the train station with the engine of the train right next to you and the person on the other line thinks that you are in a room by yourself talking to them. That’s what this Jawbone does and every one of those scenarios that I just mentioned, I have personally done and tested. When I sit there in those noisy environments and turn on and off the noise shield, people on the other line keep saying, “no way” and “that’s amazing.” In fact, the weird thing about this is that I can barely hear myself speaking because of all the noise around me, but the other party can hear me perfectly! They have this demo on their website, and when I saw it, I just thought it was a marketing gimmick, but it truly works just like that. You just gotta try it. I think I have gone through 3-4 different BT headsets and this one is truly the keeper. So, if you need a bluetooth headset for your phone (which, by the way, will be law soon for drivers in California) and/or want to use it for your computer (I love using it with iChat and Skype), go to your local Cingular store and check it out (they have a 30-day money back guarantee). Yes, it will work with all carriers. Cingular just seems to be the only stores that have it in stock.
The best is when I’m talking on the phone with my Jawbone while I’m sipping my Keurig-made coffee!
