So, yesterday, I got a letter in the mail and it was from the Richardson Police Department … uh oh. When I opened it, I saw that it was one of those red light photos. These were the photos (my Honda on the right lane):

I really didn’t remember that day, but looking at these photos, I didn’t run the red light. In fact, I was turning right, so I wasn’t going THROUGH the light, how did I run it? In fact, looking at that second picture, my brake lights clearly show that I stopped before turning right. So, how can pictures prove that I didn’t make a full stop before turning right?

I turned the paper over to see what I was to do to protest this thing. And then I see that I can go online and see the pictures. I log in and I see this:

My daughter was looking over my shoulder and shouted, “you DIDN’T stop!” That was good enough for me to write the $75 and send it in.

I later realized why I was in such a hurry. I was heading to church for our “Do Justice” event and I was running late because I picked up 3 travelers of Starbucks coffee. Well, I got to church on time, but justice was definitely done here.
