My Kids Are Stars!

My kids were asked to be part of an IgniterMedia shoot a couple of months ago and of course, I jumped at the chance! Kailey (oldest child) was too old, but Emily and Nathan were the perfect age they were looking for. When we got there and were given the script, they weren’t easy lines. I was getting a little worried, but good thing they only had to repeat the lines back. Well, here’s the video that they made called “I’ll Need You Mom” for Mother’s Day:

Today, I found out that they made another version, very similar called “I’ll Need You” and included it in their new IgniterVideos Volume 8 and guess who’s on the front cover of the DVD? Yep, that’s my Emily! This video also has a clip of Nathan and Emily, except it doesn’t start and end with my kids. Maybe that’s why I like the first one better? =)

Well, both are done very professionally and emphasize an important theme that our kids need us, especially in their earlier years. And we have this video for my kids to show their friends and tell them that they are famous … but more importantly, Kathy and I have this video to remind us that our kids need us to point them to Christ, when no one else will.

Lord, thank you for entrusting these children into our care. And even more than they need us, help us to teach them that they need You!
