About two years ago, I joined a gym, and here I go again. I got a great deal, thanks to Costco, for $199 (including activation, processing and tax!) for 1 year at all clubs except super sports and ultra sports clubs. I was seriously considering the Allen Natatorium, which was $165/year, but with the difference only being $35, I went with 24 Hour Fitness because they are open 24 hours, it’s much bigger, and they have locations next to home and work. Oh, and they watch our …

“Now, this is a good deal. If you haven’t gotten your Christmas tree this year, head over to the IKEA in Burbank today til Sunday and you can pick up a 6′ to 8′ fresh cut Douglas Fir for $20! But, here’s the kicker … when you buy one for $20, they give you an IKEA gift certificate for $20! $20 is cheap for a fresh cut tree (cheaper than what I paid for last year). The gift certificate is icing on the cake. You’ll …
Ok, being right in the middle of summer, this might be a little late for some but real timely for others. Traveling a LITTLE more than the average person, I wanted to write down some tips to share with readers (and those that I can just refer them to my blog in the future!):
- The best travel deal site is kayak.com (Thanks Katherin). It’s like expedia.com, if you’ve ever used them, except that it’s more like google for travel sites. What do I mean? Well, instead …
Guess they’re doing this because of the finger in the chili thing.
Just got a sweet deal at Fry’s. 160 GB Seagate hard drives for $99 with $50 rebate. Even the $99 is pretty good, but then to have it half that price is amazing! You can get it online at Outpost (Fry’s internet store) or just go into Fry’s and get it. Only one per household, so go with a couple of people if you want to get more than one.
Add that your current system or make it an external hard drive and go between computers.

Found this out a couple of years ago and was reminded of it recently. I called the Sprint PCS representative one time and told them that I had a couple of dropped calls. She said that I could get credit for those calls. This is what you can do when you get a dropped call (or anytime, actually):
* Call *2 on your SprintPCS phone (calls customer solutions)
