Yesterday, there was a school open house night where we go and visit the teachers and classrooms. We went to all of our kid’s classrooms. On each of their desks, they all had projects and drawings that we flipped through. I took a picture of one that caught my eye on Emily’s desk.

Since we’ve move to Texas, we’ve had many guests over our home (averaging probably around a guest a week). One popular dinner menu item is when we cook Brazilian BBQ (Churrasco). Steve Fee just posted a video of a new song on his website and we instantly fell in love with it that we had to share it with you all. I was familiar with the chorus of this song but never knew the verses or the bridge (first time in public). We learned it very quickly and recorded ourselves. His version sounds much better, but we enjoyed singing, worshipping and bringing “Glory to God, glory to God, glory to God, forever!”

This year has been an amazing year for our church. As our ministry has been growing in many different ways, we have worked to make our worship environment a more relevant place for people to worship God. My son (youngest) is 6 years old today. I got home late today and so I didn’t see him before he went to bed. So I went to his bed, woke him up, and took these pics. He’s back in bed now.

So, like father like son? Do we really look a like? Is he really my mini-me?

It’s been a long time since I changed my blog theme. It’s been just as long, it seems, that I’ve touched code. Well, I guess I still like the color blue, but the new theme does highlight my twitter a little more, since I twitter much more than I blog.
Maybe this redesign will inspire me to blog more.
