Words like forgiveness and redeemed are being used for something that happened yesterday at the Boston Red Sox season opening game. Bill Buckner, who was the first basemen for them in 1986, was blamed for losing the World Series for them by letting a simple ground ball roll between his legs and allowing the Mets to win the game and eventually the series. When you think baseball and choking, it would be the one that everyone would think of. Time magazine also named it the fourth greatest …
I ran across this picture today and was just shocked … for two reasons:
One – Look at all the Macs! I guess I see now why the AAPL stocks are going higher and higher every day. What you can’t see in this picture is probably all the iPhones and iPods in people’s pockets.
Two – How in the world do you listen to a prof when you are staring at your computer screen? Or better yet, how in the world does the prof feel like he’s connecting to …
I know I’m 12 days late on blogging this, but it definitely has been on my mind and in my prayers. It’s been over two months since I’ve blogged, but this is reason enough for me to break the silence. What the heck??? This is not right.
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The NFL has nixed a church’s plans to use a wall projector to show the Colts-Bears Super Bowl game, saying it would violate copyright laws.
NFL officials spotted a promotion of Fall Creek Baptist Church’s “Super Bowl Bash” on the church Web site last week and overnighted a letter to the pastor demanding the party be canceled, the church said.
Initially, the league objected to the church’s plan to charge a fee to attend and that the church used the license-protected words …

So, if you want to see for yourself, click the play button and see if you hear anything. And when you do, leave a comment and let’s …

Earlier this year, she won $1 million playing a Pennsylvania Lottery scratch-off ticket, then turned around and won another million-dollar jackpot last week.
“What are the odds of that?” the 55-year-old woman said, calling her good fortune “just unbelievable.”
The odds of winning just once are 1.44 million-to-1, according to state lottery officials. The odds of winning twice vary depending on how many tickets are scratched. Lehigh University professor Bob Storer placed …

They have just announced the Apple Mac mini that will be available in a couple of weeks. The first sub-$500 Mac computer and it’s sleek! Finally, I can afford a Mac for home (honey, I hope you’re not reading this!). It’s only 6.5 inches wide and 2 inches tall. Plus, it’s built in bluetooth and airport extreme wireless, which means, again, no wires, ma. …
