When you think baseball and choking, it would be the one that everyone would think of. Time magazine also named it the fourth greatest moment in baseball (with it being the only negative moment).

To jog your memory (everyone remembers this moment) of his error:

Well, he threw out the first pitch yesterday in the opener, and got a 4 minute standing ovation from 37,000 fans in a stadium that he hadn’t been in for 11 years.

Watch as he gets emotional:

One – Look at all the Macs! I guess I see now why the AAPL stocks are going higher and higher every day. What you can’t see in this picture is probably all the iPhones and iPods in people’s pockets.

Two – How in the world do you listen to a prof when you are staring at your computer screen? Or better yet, how in the world does the prof feel like he’s connecting to his students if all he sees are lit-up Apple logos. (Random thought: It would be cool to turn off the lights and see Apples as like stars!).

All I know is that if on Sunday morning, people busted out their laptops and I was preaching to the back of people’s computers, I would either pull the plug on the internet, or IM my sermon to them. The other thing is, if there was wirelesss internet, IM, Facebook, and blogs when I was in college, I would have NEVER graduated!

Well, along with pic, came across this video that a professor made with his class to show the “Vision of Students Today.” It’s pretty telling of our world today.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The NFL has nixed a church’s plans to use a wall projector to show the Colts-Bears Super Bowl game, saying it would violate copyright laws.

NFL officials spotted a promotion of Fall Creek Baptist Church’s “Super Bowl Bash” on the church Web site last week and overnighted a letter to the pastor demanding the party be canceled, the church said.

Initially, the league objected to the church’s plan to charge a fee to attend and that the church used the license-protected words “Super Bowl” in its promotions.

Pastor John D. Newland said he told the NFL his church would not charge anyone and that it would drop the use of the forbidden words.

But the NFL objected to the church’s plans to use a projector to show the game, saying the law limits it to one TV no bigger than 55 inches.

The church will likely abandon its plans to host a Super Bowl party.

“We want to be supportive of our local team,” Newland said. “For us to have all our congregation huddled around a TV that is big enough only for 10 or 12 people to watch just makes little sense.”

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said the league’s long-standing policy is to ban “mass out-of-home viewing” of the Super Bowl. An exception is made for sports bars and other businesses that show televised sports as a part of their everyday operations.

“We have contracts with our (TV) networks to provide free over-the-air television for people at home,” Aiello said. “The network economics are based on television ratings and at-home viewing. Out-of-home viewing is not measured by Nielsen.”

It is also the reason no mass viewings are planned in large arenas like the RCA Dome or Conseco Fieldhouse.

Newland said his church won’t break the law.

“It just frustrates me that most of the places where crowds are going to gather to watch this game are going to be places that are filled with alcohol and other things that are inappropriate for children,” Newland said. “We tried to provide an alternative to that and were shut down.”

Other Indiana churches said they are deciding whether they should go through with their Super Bowl party plans, given the NFL’s stance.

Goeppert’s win in January allowed her to pay off her mortgage and her children’s mortgages, buy a new Cadillac and save money for her grandchildren’s education. She purchased her most recent winning ticket for $20.

Lottery officials confirmed Goeppert has filed a claim for the jackpot, which will take four to six weeks to verify.

They have just announced the Apple Mac mini that will be available in a couple of weeks. The first sub-$500 Mac computer and it’s sleek! Finally, I can afford a Mac for home (honey, I hope you’re not reading this!). It’s only 6.5 inches wide and 2 inches tall.
Plus, it’s built in bluetooth and airport extreme wireless, which means, again, no wires, ma. The computer’s pretty fast too! But, don’t be TOO happy, cause it’s not gonna be $500 after the accessories needed. It’s still an incredible savings on a MAC.

Other news = Ipod Shuffle . A new iPod that’s the size of a thumbdrive. In fact, it IS a thumbdrive, with a usb connection at the bottom of it. But, it’s an iPod as well. It comes in 512MB and 1Gig and it’s cheap ($99 and $149). Now, that’s an affordable iPod. I don’t need 5,000 songs to carry with me everywhere I go. 200 songs is DEFINITELY enough (15-20 CDs). Plus, you just take the cap off, and plug it into any USB and it will charge, not to mention that it will last 12 hours on a single charge (which, by the way, means you will listen to all 200 songs with one charge!).

Man, Apple is doing some nice stuff to include everyone … no excuse now, people!
